If you take a glass of murky water and keep stirring it, the water will never become clear. But if you stop stirring, the impurities will slowly sink to the bottom until finally the water is perfectly clear. Our mind is the same way. When we stop feeding our thoughts and let the mind settle, it clears up all by itself.
